Our History:

Formation is a Life and Leadership training program that began in the hearts of Bishop Dwayne Deskins and Pastor Dave Minton years ago and was launched out of Capital Christian. Their desire was to combine a biblical sound program with practical and relevant leadership development

The Strategy:

This strategy of combining knowledge with practical application opportunities enhances learning by 10X a regular seminary college. Students leave Formation with more than a head full of information, they leave with the practical tools to effectively lead in life and ministry!

CLASS ROOM: Classroom sessions include courses in Leadership Development,Biblical Content and Relevant Life Skills; that equip each student with foundational truths which develop character, leadership and knowledge essential for kingdom service.

PRACTICAL MINISTRY: Whether it’s involvement in a campus Bible study, delivering food products, calling visitors, or working in the media ministry; you’ll be involved in the heartbeat of a growing and thriving ministry. We believe that teaching and experience go hand-in-hand, and that the integration of information and application is the key to your success

SPIRITUAL LIFESTYLE: Above all else its about Shaping and Forming devoted followers of Christ. This life of devotion is developed through mentoring, small groups, chapel, SOAK (Prayer) and worship.
